The Role

We are seeking for Lykke Business a Doer - a highly-skilled, motivated and experienced Chief Technology Innovator in the Blockchain Technology space to set and execute the tech strategy on behalf of the organization including managing a technology budget and making the necessary investments to align the organization with its vision for its technological needs. Working directly with the leadership team, you will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions impacting current and future operations. As the leader for tech innovation, you will oversee all technology and technological resources, establish the technology vision, strategies, and growth plans. You will also lead system and quality assurance processes to ensure the protection of Utilities’ assets while maintaining and evolving technology needs. For this role, we are seeking expertise in supporting a growth strategy by expanding existing customer relationships, anticipating current and future needs, developing new business opportunities, and cultivating partner relationships.

Tasks
- Providing technical leadership at the enterprise level and serving an integral role in operations and business development.
- Making recommendations and presenting business advantages for technology initiatives and improvements
- Driving as an essential contributor to the tech strategy and execution, and in the mid-term building up and leading a team in identifying, comparing, selecting, and implementing technology solutions and partnerships to meet current and future needs
- Tracking and controlling the developments of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and technology operations
- Designing and leading the implementation of Lykke’s strategy for technology while ensuring the implementation and enforcement of technology standards across the organization
- Advocating and communicating technology capabilities internally and externally, including leadership, customers, partners, and vendors
- Oversee data security, management, and governance.
- Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationshipsMaintaining the strategic focus of the projects from the technical perspective

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a Technology or Engineering discipline or Computer Science
- Additional theoretical and practical experience in DLT is necessary
- Being recognized as an expert in the technology space
- Being a vocal thought tech leader in the DLT and Blockchain space
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience

**Benefits**:
This important leadership role needs to be based remotely either in Europe, South East Asia or UAE.
