**We Elevate... Your Responsibilities**:
In this exciting and strategic role, you drive the Group’s media relations strategy to promote and safeguard the company’s reputation. You are the first point of contact for journalists and also support financial communications of an international publicly listed company. Being on top of latest social, economic, and political trends and their potential impact on the company you manage issues proactively. Your eye for news helps us develop compelling stories how our products enhance the quality of life in cities.

Main responsibilities include:

- Further develop and execute Schindler’s media relations strategy on Group level
- Build and maintain relations with key media globally, act as company spokesperson
- Advise senior management and the Schindler spokespeople community on speaking opportunities and prepare these interactions with media briefings
- Write and edit communications material such as press releases, web stories, etc. in English and German
- Support financial communications in close collaboration with investor relations
- Issue management, and crisis communications
- Closely collaborate with counterparts across a multi-cultural organization to develop reputation-strengthening business stories
- Monitor and analyze in cross-functional collaboration economic, regulatory, and political trends that could have an impact on the reputation of the company

Your expertise includes:

- More than 10 years' experience in delivering high-quality corporate communications and effective media relations
- Strong network across Swiss media and a solid understanding of the international media landscape
- Successful proactive and reactive reputation management for high-profile, international corporations in a fast-paced environment and rapidly changing events
- Proven track record in issues management and crisis communications
- Strong networking skills (internal and external)
- Project management experience in leading multi-faceted communications campaigns across teams and regions
- Outstanding writing and editing skills in English and German

Your skills and attitude:

- University degree preferably in Communications, Journalism, Engineering, Science, or Business Administration
- Effective in both formal and informal settings with senior executives, peers, and business partners
- Highly motivated and committed with leadership skills and experience in working with tight deadlines
- Skilled relationship builder and manager with strong influencing skills
- Excellent eye for detail and equally the bigger picture, ability to connect the dots
- Native or business-fluent English AND native or business-fluent German
- Any other language(s) is an advantage
