**Position Responsibilities**
- Support the macro trading team with economic research and market analysis
- Improve macro risk taking around economic cycles and specific data releases by producing data driven analytics
- Support the team's research process, including model building, data collection and analysis, prototyping, back testing, and performance monitoring
- Evaluate sell side research for useful, repeatable insights
- Conduct original research project over the duration of the internship

**Qualifications & Desired Skills**
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in statistics, financial engineering, applied math, finance, computer science, or similar quantitative or technical discipline
- Exceptional quantitative & programming skills (Python & SQL)
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Intellectual curiosity and motivation to innovate and improve
