Are you searching for a position as Team Lead Product Development (M/F/d) to lead an interdisciplinary, highly dynamic, and motivated team of Product Development Engineers?

We offer this pivotal position within our team to strengthen the future of the innovative Straumann Dental Implant Systems (SDIS) Portfolio and the Straumann Group.

**Responsibilities**
- Leadership of a team of Product Development Engineers
- Lead the Team by translating the R&D strategy into actionable goals
- Definition of objectives and priorities for the department from company vision, strategy, and objectives
- Provide leadership to ensure problem-solution fit and innovativeness of new products
- Exhibit a high sense of urgency to advance products from ideation to commercial launch
- Proactively search for the right balance between innovativeness and time-to-market
- Ensure appropriate staffing and resolve resource conflicts in projects
- Support Head Product Design & Development in continuously optimizing the Straumann Product Development Process
- Help your team members to grow in their roles and actively support their personal development and career progression
- Overall technical lead on demanding, cross-functional development projects under consideration of the design control process
- Ensure Design History File (DHF) documentation according to GDP
- Coordination of verification and validation (V&V) activities
- Coordination of design transfer activities

**Profile**
Education (Formal or equivalent)
- Degree in mechanical engineering, bioengineering, or a related field of study

Professional Experience
- First leadership experience is expected, particularly in creating a psychologically safe environment
- 7+ years’ experience in a related area as the development of a medical device or other highly regulated products
- Sound knowledge of the design control process
- Sound knowledge of applicable standards and regulations (MDR, FDA, ISO, ASTM)
- Previous experience in leading highly demanding product development projects is a plus
- Familiar with operating in a complex and changing matrixed environment
- Work experience in different geographies is a clear advantage.
