**The opportunity**:

We are looking for a seasoned, visionary Data & Analytics Executive who possesses the passion and experience to take a leading role within Zurich’s Data & Business Intelligence department (hereafter referred as DBI) as Head of Business Intelligence. You are part of the DBI leadership team and report directly to the Head of DBI Studio.

You will lead Business Intelligence, one of our multidisciplinary ‘DBI Studio’ teams - where we wow our internal customers - group functions and business units around the worlds - with the data solutions and platforms that we design, build and operate, across the solution lifecycle.
Our Business Intelligence team enables better business decision making by converting data into insights, using business intelligence tools/visualization solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will take a key role in our digital transformation redefining the way we work, rethinking and advancing our data solutions and enterprise platforms.
- Bring together a diverse team of BI and visualization specialists to ensure excellence in delivery and operations across our Business Intelligence solution portfolio of data products and projects.
- Facilitate a culture and spirit of continuous improvement in a DevOps mentality.
- Promote and drive the reuse of proven data solutions across our company - bringing together business-relevant measures/KPIs from different data sources in an engaging and sustainable fashion.
- Work closely with our DBI Engagement Hub to identify and bring together the best talent to bring our data solutions to life. Be a role model for connecting the dots, collaboration and relationship building across cultures and mentalities. Inspire our people with vision and a “get things done” spirit.
- Empower Zurich to capture value from data at scale by making it accessible to business stakeholders in an intuitive, appealing visual fashion, assembling the right components and building blocks.
- Bring in innovation and steer the development of best practices for visualization and business intelligence. Make Zurich and our people proud.
- Manage team performance against our customer-oriented and ambitious value creation, quality -, productivity - and speed KPI’s.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Has led diverse Business Intelligence units with more than 20 people working across multiple continents.
- Data & analytics is your ikigai - you are passionate about enabling better business decisions by converting data into insights.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Engineering or related field with further education in data & analytics.
- 8+ years of experience in the field of Data and Analytics Development and Operations in an international corporate environment with global footprint, of which minimum 6 years in a data & analytics function.
- 5+ years of experience in leading diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Proven track record and convincing expertise in creating data & analytics solutions in the Business intelligence / Visualization domain.
- Demonstrated experience in the following technologies / solutions: Tableau, PowerBI, React, SQL, Informatica tool suite, microstrategy and other.
- Strategic thinking with equally effective execution planning, judgement, and an agile iterative mindset.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, including the ability to articulate complex issues and to gain the support from internal and external and executive stakeholders.
- Proven track record of bringing together business and technical stakeholders in designing and bringing to life scalable, sustainable data solutions.
