Lead, Global Transportation Network Excellence and

**_ OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE _**

Deliver a **Unique Customer Experience **throughout a **Self-driving, Agile, Compliant and Regional differentiated **distribution network guided by our **commitment to the Patients**, **People **and **Planet**

Manage implementation of **strategic transportation network **initiatives globally

Support operational teams to deploy **D&L strategic initiatives** related to network optimization and systems implementation, acting as Project manager to support BPO on **Transportation Network Business Process excellence** + **& Reporting**

**Act as a **SME to support global transportation network optimization and GSC D&L continuous improvement roadmap (STRIVE)

**_ ACCOUNTABILITIES _**

Ensure deployment of Strategic Transportation Network Optimization Initiatives (STRIVE) to reduce logistics cost and CO2 emissions, increase productivity, and agility, while maitining highest level of compliance and service level to customers

Support the design and the implementation of SAP Logistics Execution & Transportation Management System (LES/TMS) for Sites and SAP interfaces for CMOs operations across Takeda global network

Deploy and implement SAP interfaces with Lead Logistics Partners (LLPs) and Logistics Service Providers (LSPs/3PLs) for an efficient, data-driven transportation network

Support deployment of SAP-GTS to manage transportation operations for non-commercial shipments (Samples, testing materials ) cooperating with Global Customs & Trade compliance teams.

Ensure deployment of Transportation Scenario Planning tool for data-driven decision making on key trade-offs between patient supply, sustainability and costs (transport & inventory)

Automate Network Performance management & Business excellence reporting by contributing to deployment of a logistic data lake to capture real-time logistics data and avoid manual processing

Proactively contribute to the transportation strategy roadmap alignment and implementation increasing transportation mode shift to reduce carbon emissions and improve quality, service and costs.

Act as SME for SAP/C3ME with DD&T and local SC team 5planning, Wh ops) on Transportation automation projects

**Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise**

Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes & functions

Expert in logistics & transportation processes - especially in pharmaceutical markets

Strong understanding of Manufacturing units/OpUs and commercial processes & procedures

Strong understanding of GDP requirements (GDP: Good Dristribution Practices)

**Leadership**

Ability to lead a global project

Ability to build and sell innovative, patient-centric logistics & distribution services

Ability to operate cross functionally, working with Operating Units (OpUs), commercial business units, Global Quality and business partners functions (procurement, finance, IT, legal,)

**Decision-making and Autonomy**

Act as a member of D&L global projects governance committees (STRIVE, LLP/TMS/SAP-GTS Steero)

Solid capabilities to analyze issues and to prepare & enable decision making on global and regional level in a matrix organization

Experienced in stakeholder management across all organizational levels (local, regional, executive) as well as proven capabilities to influence senior management

**_ WHAT YOU BRING TO TAKEDA_**

Master’s degree in supply chain management preferred

A minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience in Supply Chain Distribution and Logistics management

Strong Supply Chain and transportation systems knowledge (SAP LES/MM/SD/FI, customers and suppliers collaboration solutions,

Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders across levels & across countries

Proven ability to lead the implementation of global complex projects

Strong business acumen & financial analytics skill

Structured, holistic and clear in problem solving

APICs certification is a plus

Fluent in spoken and written English language
