Due to the steady growth of our company and to strengthen our bioanalytical laboratory in Fehraltorf / Zurich, we are looking for a

**Lead Scientist LC-MS & MetID (100%)**

**Your main **responsibilities**
- Manage and lead a team of 4 LC-MS & MetID scientists
- Ensure that robust LC-MS bioanalytical assays for small and large molecules are developed according to the sponsor and regulatory requirements and within agreed timelines
- Act as an internal and external scientific advisor for LC-MS bioanalytical assays and for metabolite profiling and identification related questions, ensure that sponsors are updated of the bioanalytical method development and MetID study progress
- Obtain information from sales or directly from potential sponsors about new opportunities, support supervisor to prepare proposals
- Drive process improvements to assure financial and budget expectations are met
- Develop capabilities and resources to meet present and future needs within the group and in discussion with the other Celerion sites globally
- Participate in and present at conferences and industry related meetings while staying at the forefront of new bioanalytical techniques

JOB REQUIREMENTS

**Our requirements**
- Extensive experience and knowledge within the area of LC-MS based bioanalytical assay development
- Extensive experience and knowledge in metabolite profiling and identification service for radiolabelled and non-radiolabelled studies
- Knowledge of guidelines for bioanalytical method validation (EMA / FDA), MIST guidance and industry guidelines for LC-MS bioanalytical assays
- Previous leadership experience is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, good skills in German are an advantage
- Experienced in presenting, leading meetings, time management, planning, budgeting and negotiating
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, self-awareness and respect for cultural diversity
