Proclinical are recruiting a Director Physicochemical Analytics for a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Lausanne. The client is focused on developing products for various therapeutic areas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Form and uphold scientific brilliance, technical expertise and data veracity within field of accountability.
- Responsible for the international method of physicochemical analytics and formulation development for biosimilar entities from project initiation up to product commercialisation.
- You will stay well-informed on new developments in the biosimilar field and form a solid reputation within the industry community.
- Might serve as a member of the biosimilars CMC teams.
- Guarantee assistance of regulator functions through the participation of regulatory exchanges and papers such as IND/IMPD, CTAs, proposals, etc., throughout the development and commercial stage.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Educated to an advanced degree level in a biochemistry or similar discipline, or to a degree level with postgraduate experience.
- Fluency in the English language with knowledge in an additional language such as French would be beneficial.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- At least 10 years of experience in a management role in R&D within a biopharma organisation, ideally handling biosimilars but necessarily within a biotherapeutic area which involves antibodies.
- Familiarity in people management.
- Past involvement with analytical sciences implemented to proteins/mAbs as well as ground-breaking biochemical and biophysical analytical strategies.
- Comprehension of cross-functional CMC development of biotherapeutics.
- Exhibited ability to successfully engage with health authorities within highly regulated markets.
- Capable of successfully working within an international matrix establishment with the full breadth of functions partaking in drug development.
- Acquaintance with Physchem analytics via product development life cycle from clone development to QC release and commercial supply.
