Global Business Line Manager Switchgear

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role you will report to the business line Medium Voltage Switchgear Leader, belonging to the Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS) Division. You will have the opportunity to lead a team to execute purchasing strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company and Procurement team instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. The work model for the role is: hybrid/ Global This role is contributing to be competitive in price and best in class in material cost management. Main stakeholders are: Suppliers, Portfolio Manager, R&D, Factory and Procurement Managers You will be mainly accountable for: - Ensuring relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly and ensuring alignment between local procurement activities and division strategy. - Implementing programs to drive improvement in cost, quality, and delivery, in accordance with business line procurement objectives and division material management guidelines. - Managing planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, and savings forecasts. - Assessing procurement competencies within the business line Switchgear and developing them through dedicated training programs - Ensuring transparency in business line material spending and implementing a data driven decision making process - Coordinating procurement strategies with the other business lines - Actively working with other roles in the business line in cross functional cost-out activities This position reports to Business Line Switchgear Leader

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Experience managing procurement operations across multiple regions, including dealing with diverse regulatory environments, geopolitical risks, and currency fluctuations.
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and negotiating large-scale contracts.
- Strong skills in cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis to optimize procurement spending.
- Ability to use data analytics to optimize procurement processes and drive strategic sourcing decisions.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional and international teams, driving performance and collaboration.
- Ability to lead change initiatives, such as process improvements and cost-saving programs
- Identifying and mitigating risks in the procurement process, such as supply chain disruptions or vendor non-compliance
- Strong mindset for integrity and inclusive culture, fostering a speak-up culture.
- Collaborative with „one level up “thinking - teams-up across the entire organization where needed, with peers, partners, customers, suppliers, or other divisions
- Culture change agent and focused on driving improvement on all aspects of diversity
- Proven experience in leadership roles
