As a **Group Leader **, you will lead a dynamic team that breaks new grounds in precision nutrition slow age-related physiological decline and improve quality of life. **A Day in the Life of a Group Leader
- Supervise research that builds on emerging knowledge of cellular aging to improve healthy longevity
- Conceive and implement experimental research strategies to slow aging based on genetics, epigenetics or similar stratification approaches
- Coordinate preclinical and clinical evidence development with a strong focus on data-driven approaches
- Pitch projects aligned with the organization’s objectives to senior stakeholders to secure funding
- Manage a research portfolio and deliver according to the project plans
- Work with team of junior and senior scientists to enable their career ambitions as experts and managers

**What will make you successful
- PhD, MD/PhD or MD degree with a minimum of 6-8 years post-graduate work experience in medicine or life sciences
- Expertise in longevity research with a previous track record that combines data-driven approaches with experimental biological interventions in preclinical models or mechanistic human studies
- Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills to excel in a matrix structure
- Track record in scientific publications and a strong external network
- Successful examples of preclinical to clinical translation in a nutrition or pharmaceutical industry setting is a plus
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
