The role is managing processes and tools, operations and activities enabling Quality Supply Chain and Compliance at a global level. The incumbent manages autonomously global quality compliance and supplier management activities in compliance with Lonza’s expectations and requirements from Health Authorities. The role is a key placer in the supply of materials and services to Lonza within area of responsibility by assessing the quality of the Suppliers and their ability to meet defined requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate or lead Quality / Compliance projects, aligned with the company strategy and group objectives
- Support supplier lifecycle: Onboarding, Monitoring and decommissioning (process upgrade and SOP generation)
- Manage global vendor change notification process linked to materials management and supplier changes impacting Lonza globally
- Responsible to manage QAA templates and to complete / revise QAA and SCL in due time, route for review before initiating approval process. Interact with the suppliers and the sites to complete this activity
- Manage reporting on QA Supplier performance for all assigned processes
- Act as an expert for systems and tools owned by the global quality compliance (e.g. run daily operations, collect and provide input for continuous improvements based on customer feedback and own experience)
- Support quality activities related to Good Distribution Practices, warehousing
Key requirements:
- Master of Science in natural sciences (e.g. Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biotechnology or equivalent)
- Proficiency in supplier quality management of the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent knowledge in cGMPs and cGDP requirements and understanding of the regulatory process and requirements
- Good knowledge of risk assessment and risk management fundamentals / tools
- Experience in continuous improvement (lean and six-sigma) is an advantage
- Knowledge in SAP usage is an advantage
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
