We are seeking to recruit, at the earliest opportunity possible, a - **Country Manager of Corn & Oilcrops and Sugarbeet **for our - **KWS Suisse SA** entity, based in - **Basel**.- The role oversees KWS corn & oil crops as well as Sugar Beet businesses. The aim is to maintain a leading position on the Swiss market and to achieve continuous growth.This role is to be filled - **full-time** and on a - **permanent **basis.**Your responsibilities**: - Develop & implement Go-to-Market Strategy for corn & oil crops/sugar beets in Switzerland in alignment with our KWS Business Units Strategy - Manage customer relations with key clients in the agriculture distribution, sugar industry, and contractors/farmers - Develop and implement marketing & sales strategies and actions taking into consideration sales objectives and the market environment - Lead and develop KWS Suisse SA team - Manage product portfolio, seed supply, and logistics efficiently in partnership with our central functions at KWS - Plan and follow up the fiscal year budget (e.g. sales quantities, pricing, and costs) and forecast - Manage and administer the legal entity KWS Suisse SA represent the company in front of legal authorities and ensure that the company operates within the boundaries of local regulations and KWS Company standards **Your profile**: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agriculture environment or Management/Marketing and/or ideally MBA in a related field - You bring into the role a strong knowledge of the industry and a passion for agriculture. - Successful and proven work experience in sales/marketing, as well as significant experience in managing a sales team and a profit center - You have an open entrepreneurial mindset, combined with a strong cooperative leadership style - Strong negotiation skills are encouraged, as well as strong customer orientation - You speak German fluently (in both writing and speaking).
