**Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Build a strong global supply management team and organization - in Winterthur and worldwide. Strengthen category management and advanced supply management. Clearly define roles and responsibilities of team members and set targets
- Lead, develop and motivate a team of globally decentralized supply management functions (Deputy, Supply Management Czech, Supply Management India, Supply Management China, Global Category Management, Advanced Supply Management, Controlling)
- Define, deploy, implement and execute a Supply Management Strategy to achieve lowest total cost, availability of required capacity, compliance with specifications, quality and delivery requirements and minimize supply risks
- Achieve the defined cost, quality and delivery targets per product in cooperation with the product units
- Lead group-wide projects to improve product and process costs, standardization, risk management or special projects
- Development of a competitive and capable supply base globally
- Integration of key suppliers in all new development projects
- Improve purchasing cost and variances forecasting
- Securing of Material availability in all locations in close synchronization with the local Heads of Operations
- Proactive drive to realize manufacturing cost targets (COGM) by negotiations, supplier bundling, strategic contracts and dual sourcing for all critical components
- Definition, deployment and implementation of new Supply Management Tools and Processes
- Global contract management. Manage business relationship with key suppliers
- Performing ad-hoc analyses and scenario modeling
- Continuous improvement of processes, automation (digitization), purchasing controlling, data maintenance and interdisciplinary collaboration with other functional areas
- Development, contribution and implementation of corporate guidelines, directives and specifications for global and local purchasing
- Development of the organization to a true business partner

**Your Qualifications**:

- At least 10+ years’ professional experience in a Supply Management function in an international industrial environment and different industries, particularly experience regarding capital goods, Business transformation and Operations Support
- Proven track record in establishing a performing global supply management organization and implementing of digital technologies to achieve process efficiency and mitigate risks
- Strong knowledge about supply management and engineering processes paired with commercial and legal understanding
- Experience in strong cooperation with R&D and early involvement in the development process
- Experience and high-level understanding of lean production, and with matrix structures and advanced quality methods
- Solid experience in change management (shaping and driving change, winning and influencing)
- Solid experience in project management in the field of supply chain management to create sustainable value for customers and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Value Stream Management and Lean Management desirable
- Relevant global experience - preferably overseas/Asia
- Language skills English mandatory, any other language for our main markets an advantage
