**About this job**:
You will drive creation of a cutting-edge automated underwriting platform that is innovative, sophisticated, and highly professional. You will develop vision and strategy for the future of underwriting that is best suited to address evolving business needs focused on US, CA and Asia-Pacific regions. You will execute this strategy leading project team and set up all necessary processes and standards.

The primary areas of responsibility are:

- Creating and maintaining a roadmap that aligns with the overall business strategy.
- Establishing processes and standards for the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions to ensure quality
- Ensuring that the platform complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws, security regulations, and other applicable standards
- Ensure appropriate monitoring and improvements of platform performance
- Ensuring that the platform provides a seamless and intuitive user experience
- Managing project budgets and finances
- Identifying and building relationships with clients and vendors
- Building and managing a strong brand and managing its reputation through effective marketing and communication strategies.
- Fostering a culture of innovation within the team and encouraging creative thinking and experimentation

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:
You are experienced in constructing automated underwriting solutions and possess an entrepreneurial mindset. You can take ownership of tasks and adapt to a dynamic and evolving landscape, as well as manage complex settings involving multiple stakeholders.

Keeping abreast of cutting-edge technology, you are able to produce reliable, well-designed, and well-governed solutions, while prioritizing the delivery of exceptional service to our clients and maintaining focus on our strategic goals.

You possess excellent communication skills and can thrive in a dynamic, culturally diverse, and inclusive environment. You enjoy collaborating across locations and time zones in a flexible manner.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Proven experience in building automated underwriting platforms and solutions
- Strategic mindset to create a vision and roadmap for the client-facing platforms
- Leadership skills to execute strategies and lead project teams effectively
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security mainly in US and/or CA markets.
- Ability to establish governance frameworks for software development, testing, and deployment to ensure high quality of delivery
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

**The position is based in PartnerRe’s in either Charlotte, Toronto or Zurich office.**
