SonarSource’s Services team is looking for a Technical Consultant to work with our prospects and customers throughout Europe and Asia (occasionally worldwide). He/she will join the team in either our Geneva or Annecy office.

The impact you can have*

As a Technical Consultant at SonarSource you play a central role in providing deep technical expertise to our prospects and customers and supporting them in adopting and deploying our solutions. The Consulting team is essential in making the link between the Customers and our internal Sales, Product Management and Development teams.

**On a daily basis, you will**:

- Drive technical aspects of pre-sales business opportunities by doing technical presentations and demonstrations and supporting trial deployments proof of concepts.
- Coordinate and deliver onsite and online technical workshops and training to customers.
- Develop and share software quality best practices.
- Remove technical barriers to deployment and adoption of SonarSource’s software products.
- Serve as a liaison between Customers and Sales, Product Management and Development teams to provide feedback on product evolution.
**The skills you will demonstrate**
- At least 5 years of experience in the areas of Software Development and/or DevOps Engineering.
- Knowledge of multiple software deployment platforms (Linux, Windows, AWS, Azure and Docker) and database systems (Postgres, Oracle and SQL Server).
- Proven experience delivering technical presales support to large enterprises.
- Excellent presentation skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to dive into complex technical problems and develop solutions.
- Proven ability to work in a team, receiving and giving feedback as well as sharing knowledge.
- A can-do attitude: challenging the status-quo, leading and contributing to key improvements and innovations.
- Strong influencing skills and natural leadership.

**Office location**

This position is based in either our Geneva or Annecy office and will require regular (~30%) travel.
