This role is responsible for the quality and strategic impact of the domain of web3 products. Together with internal and external stakeholders, and agile teams, you work on continuously improving and evolving the web3 product domain, maximizing the value for the customer and the company.
Define a robust web3 product domain roadmap, managing capability expansion increments and leading the teams towards definition of new functionalities & best practices are a few examples of the activities that will be expected from this role.- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Product Strategy & Delivery
- Be accountable for the success of the web3 product domain, considering the value for the consumer and the company
- Accountable for product delivery in line with the roadmap and committed delivery dates - End to end tech experience, integrating with touchpoints, 1P and 3P platforms and other integration specifics (e.g. SDK kits and APIs)
- Drive the strategic evolution of the web3 product domain as part of the adidas digital ecosystem and in line with companywide strategic goals
- Define the vision and roadmap for the web3 product domain, considering the value for the consumer and the company, and its role within the digital adidas ecosystem
- Identify and solve dependencies within and beyond your product domain to ensure efficient delivery
- Manages web3 platform experience projects and topics to guide appropriate brand content and integrate marketing programs
- Communicate the intended experience and new functionalities, assets, brand guidelines, programs and initiatives
- Take projects from early business requirements to rapidly create and validate a product vision
- Design choices using previous user research, heuristics and usability standard
- Validate activities to ensure a delightful user experience
- Support on understanding users and ensuring intended experiences are carried through; improve site experience through new technology and site enhancements
- Stakeholder Management
- Represent the business for the web3 product domain, fostering strong relationships with key global stakeholders / 1P and 3P platforms to ensure that their views and requirements are captured in the product backlogs of the domain
- Act as the ambassador for your product domain, showcasing the key functionalities to markets and other strategic stakeholders, driving product adoption and assuring operational excellence together with IT peers
- Backlog Management
- Drive the evolution of the domain backlog in collaboration with the product owners in your domain
- Influence backlog priorities in the own domain, Influence roadmaps and backlogs from other domains
- Monitoring
- Be accountable for monitoring, optimization and enhancement of the configuration, features and functionalities related to the product domain
- KEY RELATIONSHIPS
- Senior Leadership Team, Executive Board, all BUs and Functions, Finance, Corporate Strategy, Sales Strategy, Market Business Development, External Partners, Global IT, Global Digital
- KNOWLEDGE, CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Broad knowledge of blockchain and crypto landscape
- Proven track record building / executing frameworks for NFT programs, 3D design and VR/AR expeirences and creative design.
- Experience in leading creative projects from ideation to completion
- Experience in working on global NFT launches
- Understanding of blockchain / crypto infrastructure, business models and models of organization, for example social tokens and DAO’s.
- Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
- In-depth understanding of digital IT products and capabilities
- Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects, ideally with Marketing, Sales or Operations experience
- Ability to think strategically, anticipate and define problems, synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions, but at the same time also strong in executing
- Proven project management skills
- High degree of commercial and business acumen
- Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
- Distinctive strategic mindset and ability to prioritize and delegate high numbers of tasks with varying workload and importance

- QUALIFICATIONS
- Ideally Master degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in multi-national business environment (thereof 6+ year experience in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product management, working in an agile/SCRUM mode
