This role can be based anywhere commutable to an adidas office globally.- PURPOSE
In this role you are responsible to build, manage, and lead a team to design and deliver rapid end-to-end proof of concepts, prototypes, and production software and device solutions. You will build and lead a creative team focused on next gen experiences build on blockchain and in gaming ecosystems.
You deliver solutions independently and together with distributed sprint teams, using modern software development and agile methodologies. You demonstrate Technology Innovation practices and thought leadership; and leverage the newest technology to constantly invent, simplify and up level.- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervise the creation of all experience design web3 concepts that address consumer value propositions, ensuring they are backed up by data from various testing and analytics sources
- Provide experience and design directions, which are taken by the team to develop specific web3 concepts
- Ensure designs and content reflect brand image / ideals consistently and positively
- Anticipate problems that keep a project from completing on time and propose and implement solutions and report project progress at major stages (conception, creation, and execution)
- Validate if all solutions delivered by internal teams or external contractors meet the desired user experience
- Present and oversee the presentation of final concepts, and obtain relevant approvals
- Ensure a continuous improvement process to integrate new insights into the experiences is established and optimized
- Be responsible for the strategic Experience Design direction, in line with the adidas web3 strategy
- Meet budget standards by forecasting and managing expenses
- Serve as liaison between interna teams, the creative team, and individual clients
- People Management
- Build the appropriate structure to be able to manage the respective organization effectively, identify and develop the future talents and create realistic succession scenarios for key positions
- Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short
- and long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production
- Ensure appropriate leadership skills are present at every level by creating a motivational and supportive work environment in which employees are coached, trained and provided with career opportunities through development
- Continuously monitor and evaluate team workload and organizational efficiency with the support of data and team feedback and make appropriate changes in order to meet business needs
- Provide team members/direct reports with clear direction and targets that are aligned with business needs and adidas Web3 objectives
- KNOWLEDGE, CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven track record building / executing frameworks for NFT programs, 3D design and VR/AR experiences and creative design.
- Experience in leading creative projects from ideation to completion
- Experience with community-driven experience design for existing NFT holders
- Experience in working on global NFT launches
- Knowledge of the web3 landscape, risks, and adidas activities
- Understanding of blockchain / crypto infrastructure, business models and models of organization, for example social tokens and DAO’s.
- Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
- Significant experience in product management and working in an agile/SCRUM mode
- Good level of knowledge on CRM and/or digital marketing
- Knowledge about reporting tools, KPI creation and extracting insights from complex dashboards
- Experience in working with Illustrator and other relevant wireframing tools
- Deep understanding of the web environment, GUI (screen layouts and composition)
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
- Creative and energetic team player who has a passion for user-centered design
- Fluent English both verbally and written
- QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree (Master preferred) in the field of Business or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the area of experience of front-end design, e.g. as a functional expert
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leading a team, in an organizational or project set up
- Experience in digital, e-Commerce and/or web3 environment
- Experience with change management and business process methodologies
- Experience working with stakeholders and experts at various seniority levels
- Experience/involvement in working in and understanding of the adidas Digital organization preferred
- Experience in market digital functions is a plus
