**Your position**
- You will have the opportunity to carry out academic research in an English-speaking environment. The focus of our group is on central banking, financial market and bank regulation, and the economics of banking. Teaching duties may be carried out in German or English.
- PhD position: The position will entail a performance review after one year after which the position can be extended to a total of 4 years.
- Postdoc position: The position is initially issued for two years, after which a performance review will decide on a further extension.

**Your profile**
- For the PhD position, you hold a Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- For the PostDoc position you hold a PhD in Economics or Finance or a closely related field.
- You have good knowledge in programming in R or Python or other languages.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of German is not a formal requirement but an asset.
