**Research Assistant in Economics (M/F/d)**:

**Your tasks**:
- ** Conducting literature reviews**: You may be responsible for reviewing the academic literature on value creation, corporate distress, and zombification and summarizing the key findings for the research team.
- ** Collecting and analyzing data**: You may be involved in collecting and analyzing data using statistical software such as R. This may involve cleaning and preparing data, running regressions or other statistical analyses, and interpreting results.
- ** Organizing and managing research materials**: You may be responsible for organizing and managing research materials, such as data files.
- ** Writing and editing research reports**: You may draft (sections of) reports or academic papers based on our research findings, as well as edit reports written by other team members.
- ** Developing presentations**: You may be asked to create presentations summarizing research findings for academic conferences, seminars, or other public events.
- ** Communicating with external stakeholders**: You may be responsible for communicating with external stakeholders interested in our research to coordinate research activities and ensure smooth project progress. This may include public and private institutions, and other research teams.
- ** Organizing launch events**: You may benefit from the opportunity to drive a series of events at which we intend to present our research. You have the chance to plan these events from scratch and to interact with high-profile organizations.

- We are looking for a reliable self-starter who:
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of macroeconomics and / or corporate finance.
- Brings a genuine interest in applied economics and the state of capitalism in the 21st century.
- Delivers high-quality output even when working against tight deadlines.
- Pays close attention to detail and is meticulous in the work.
- Writes clearly and concisely, both for internal project reports and for external academic publications.
- Effectively synthesizes research findings and presents them in a compelling way.
- Collaborates and communicates with other team members.
- Confidently expresses themselves in English.

Previous research experience conducting literature reviews and data analyses would be an advantage. Organizational talent is a must-have. We are looking for a «can do» attitude.The SIAW has been founded in 1943. Since this time, issues related to the international economic order and economic policies have been a traditional focus of our institute's activities. Work at the institute is directed toward developing the methodological basis for policy advice, leading to policy recommendations in selected areas. Professor Evenett is one of the institute's directors and his research focuses on international trade and the intersection of business and economics.
