**Your mission**:
The aim of the EPFL Blue Brain Project (BBP), a Swiss brain research initiative founded and directed by Professor Henry Markram, is to establish simulation neuroscience as a complementary approach alongside experimental, theoretical and clinical neuroscience to understanding the brain, by building the world’s first biologically detailed digital reconstructions and simulations of the mouse brain.
- Within the Simulation Neuroscience division, we are looking for a
- **Post-doctoral Researcher in Computational modelling of the mouse olfactory bulb**
**W/M**.**Main duties and responsibilities include**:
- Data curation. Data from experimental lab (e.g., morphological reconstructions and electrophysiological recordings), literature and public resources
- Analysis of experimental data (e.g., morphometrics, electrophysiological features)
- Build, validate, and refine a large-scale model of the mouse olfactory bulb
- Exploit the model to answer outstanding questions in the field
**Your profile**:
- PhD in Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, or related field
- Experience in the field of Neuroinformatics, Datata Analysis and Statistics
- Experience in Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, and large-scale Network modelling
- Experience in Scientific Computing Software (Python, Linux)
- Experience in version control software, Shell scripting and using high-performance computing resources
- Interest in participating in a collaborative big science project
- Strong team player and fluent English in speech and writing
