Halal Technical Auditor

**Education**

The Technical Auditors for Halal Products/Services should have the knowledge, corresponding to post-secondary education or higher that includes courses in the relevant related industry categories in which they conduct halal certification audits. Background from Food science and technology, Bio technology, Chemist, Pharmacy, Vegan, Halal, QA, QC, scientific research and other related backgrounds which are mentioned in categories( A- B) will be preferred.

Halal auditors reports to Technical Manager and are responsible to:

- Conduct the document review within the agreed time schedule
- Conduct the audits within the agreed time schedule from head office
- Prioritize and focus on matters of significance
- Collect information through effective interviewing, listening, observing processes and reviewing documents, records and data
- Ensure that the HCS’s audit procedures for Halal management system certification criteria fulfill
- Perform site visit (audits) and the visit to company’s associate suppliers if required
- Prepare non-compliance reports and communicate to client for further actions
- Review raw material, process, products as per the requirements and prepare review report
- Understand the appropriateness and consequences of using sampling techniques for auditing
- Verify the accuracy of collected information and recommend the finished products and raw material samples for laboratory analysis (if required)
- Confirm the sufficiency and appropriateness of audit evidence to support audit findings and conclusions
- Assess and report those factors that can affect the reliability of the audit findings and conclusions
- Compile and finalize the Halal audit report and submit to Quality Assurance Manager for further review and processing
- Communicate effectively with clients during the audit and give continuous feedbacks during the audit
- Immediately report any such matters, creating hindrance in conduction of effective audit, to Technical Manager
- Maintain the confidentiality and fulfill the impartiality requirements.
