As the Global Head of Financial Risk Management and Macro Advisory, you will, lead the financial risk management at Group level (i.e. foreign exchange, interest rate, commodity risks) from a strategic and operational perspective with internal and external partners. It is also an advisor to divisional finance, sales and procurement ensuring financial risks are addressed appropriately at business origination. It progresses our risk management capabilities to the next level by driving key treasury projects and setting risk management standards through strategy and policy development. Further, the role owns a geographic region from Treasury perspective (local treasury operations, capital structures, dividends etc).

**Key responsibilities**:

- Execution and functional responsibility for financial risk management including currency, interest rate and commodity price risks
- Responsible for the definition and implementation of the Risk Management strategy in Treasury including the identification, measurement, control and monitoring of financial risks
- Serves as a Treasury Risk advisor to the business units and segments
- Supports the business in protecting against adverse effects from unexpected capital markets price movements
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements in area of responsibility
- Manages long-term bank relations in respect to the specific product coverage
- Leads or participates in treasury projects (e.g. selection and implementation of a new Treasury Management System)
- Guides local professionals in legal entities on financial risk management
- Controls and instructs Treasury functions in the region
- Manages Treasury professionals
- Macro Economic research and analyses/presentations
- Ensure optimal flow of information related to innovation projects within project organization and at interfaces with departments within Bioconjugates or supporting departments, and mediating in case of problems.
- Lead of innovation pillar in bioconjugates

**Key requirements**:

- Solid knowledge of Capital Markets with special focus on FX, interest rates and commodities
- Solid understanding of financial products including Forwards, Swaps, and Options
- Sound understanding of market standards and front office processes
- Very experienced with 360T FX Trading Platform
- Basic understanding of hedge accounting and how financial derivatives impact P&L
- Solid knowledge of Financial Markets compliance and regulatory matters
- Strong MS Office skills, Bloomberg, familiarity with Treasury Management Systems and bank portal systems
- Fluent in English is a critical requirement, German and French would also be preferred
- ACT qualified
