**THE ROLE**

We are looking for a Head of Accounting to join the Zattoo Finance Team as a direct report to the CFO. You will be responsible for all accounting of our four legal entities in Switzerland, Germany, and the USA.

**THE TEAM**

The Zattoo Finance Team combines years of experience along with a high degree of responsibility and professionalism. We are seven people taking care of accounting, controlling, taxes, insurance and various processes centrally for all four companies in Switzerland, Germany and the USA.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Independently manage General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including driving the dunning process
- Manage a team of 3 employees, including hiring, training and development.
- Together with our HR team manage payroll for all Zattoo group entities with external payroll services
- Be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly close activities for all Zattoo group entities
- Prepare and provide timely and accurate financial data including consolidation, general ledger, balance sheets and cash flow statements
- Be responsible for the timely fulfilment of requests from our main shareholder incl. monthly upload of our consolidated financial statements into their financial system
- Swiss and EU VAT, Corporation Tax filings, and other tax and statistical reporting
- Be responsible for external audits (annual financial statements, taxes, social securities)
- Drive and support project work
- Monitor compliance with financial controls, policies and procedures.
- Develop process and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Be a superuser of key financial systems
- Support with ad hoc requests and projects from the CFO, where required

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Profound education in accounting (Swiss diploma “Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management Federal Diploma of Higher Education” or “Chartered Expert in Financial and Managerial Accounting and Reporting Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education” or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience for an international Swiss company with Swiss GAAP (SCO) and/or IFRS
- Fluent in verbal and written **English **and **German**:

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Leadership experience
- Team player with superior interpersonal skills
- Hands on experience in all aspects of the role
- Analytical, systematic and strategic thinker
- Proactive and independent working style
- Track record for delivering high-quality work
- **Bonus**: Experience with transfer pricing
