**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the manufacturing department in alignment with Lunaphore’s overall objectives. Provide vision and guidance to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee all manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, including resource allocation, equipment procurement, and capacity planning. Optimize resource utilization and production efficiency to meet customer demands.
- Work in collaboration with the quality team to establish and maintain robust quality systems and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of manufacturing professionals. Set clear performance expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as R&D, Supply Chain, QARA, Customer Support to ensure effective coordination and integration of manufacturing activities. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide technical expertise as needed.
- Drive the implementation of process and/or product design changes to continuously enhace product robustness and optimize process efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement in manufacturing operations. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in Lab Instrumentation is mandatory.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 regulations, and other relevant quality standards.
- Fluency in English (at least C1), French / German / Italian is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully leading manufacturing operations, optimizing processes, and delivering high-quality products on time.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven and analytical approach.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Agile, or other process improvement methodologies is desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and quality in a manufacturing environment.
