**Position Summary**

Nespresso is seeking a highly skilled leader with a proven history in the technological sector. You will be tasked with making technology decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a technology budget and making investments to align the company with its vision and for its digital needs. You will be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological strategy and development. You will report to the Chief Digital Officer and will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future digital strategy of the company.

In addition, you will share the vision on Tech (Digital Technology) and educate your colleagues on why it’s important for Nespresso and how it provides value & lead the approach to implement a Creator-led Digital-Tech strategy embedded in Nespresso’s architecture and ways of working.

**A Day in the Life of a Global Head of Digital Technology**
- Lead the strategy for technology platforms, as well as partnerships, and external relationships
- Define timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services
- Identify, compare, select, and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
- Implement the right technology, product, and organization to establish Nespresso as the reference in “Best in Class” D2C business across customer & user experiences
- Act as ambassador on key topics like risk management, security, compliance, reliability, and operational performance of systems
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Team, set goals that help meet the organization's needs, drive performance, efficiency and effectiveness of our teams and Technology
- Lead all aspects of the development lifecycle from strategic planning, design/architecture, development, testing and deployment, and maintenance, with the ability to take in and prioritize inputs such as security, performance, and business impact

**What will make you successful**
- MA in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar relevant field
- 15+ years’ experience in a Direct-to-Consumer business
- Experience having led IT at a large organization through a Digital Transformation
- Previous experience as a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) or Global Head of Technology or equivalent role
- Experience implementing MACH architecture
- In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design & development, channel-less
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Experience driving and leading change at large scales
- At ease navigating in a complex and matrix work environment
- Fluent in English
