**What you’ll do**:

- As a Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will manage the regulatory compliance, market clearance, advocacy and business support of DSM animal nutrition products and provide advice to Marketing and Sales, Product Management, Global Regulatory in all regulatory related topics/issues for Animal Nutrition and Health (ANH) EMEA. In this role, you will act as a representative of DSM in industry associations and working groups nationally and in the EU and particularly Germany to support the local production sites in contact with local authorities.
- There is flexibility towards the base location of this role.

**Key areas of responsibility**:

- Provide input on changing regulatory environments and the related impacts on business
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ANH regulatory affairs strategy for EMEA
- Be responsible for regional and local representation, networking and shaping activities in EU/EMEA/Germany
- Support the development of DSM positions in the regulatory area for EU/EMEA
- Serve as the regulatory expert as appropriate and support global regulatory affairs colleagues with knowledge of EU regulations on allocated products and topics
- Contribute to the regulatory affairs team performance by taking leadership in your areas of responsibility
- Serve as a back up of other ANH regulatory affairs colleagues in the region when necessary
- Provide local regulatory support for business
- Support EU/EMEA customer queries related to DSM’s products and sites, in close cooperation with all internal functions (e.g. Global Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Marketing & Sales)
- Contribute to the process of maintaining and creating regulatory information, statements and documentation in compliance with regional and country specific legislation (e.g. product regulatory documentation)
- Contribute to the use of regulatory tools, systems and processes as required
- Manage and contribute to regulatory projects

**You bring**:

- Degree in Natural Sciences, Life Sciences or related scientific disciplines
- Strong knowledge of EU feed related regulations and regulatory affairs experience with feed additives
- Knowledge of animal nutrition/animal production is a plus
- Good network in industry associations and regulatory bodies
- Fluent in English and German command is essential, another language is a plus
- Good interpersonal, teamwork and project management skills
- Customer focused and solutions oriented mind
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a complex environment
