- This role plays a key function in the delivery of the Hexagon Mining ONE Platform, managing and driving the development of the product, services, and infrastructure components to support the integrations of all the product lines.
- This position is responsible for leading the Mining Core Technology Development and the execution and delivery of software releases within the software development life cycle process.
- In this role you will be developing an understanding of user needs and expectations across the industry, allowing a user driven product development. This will include monitoring all hexagon mining product/service offerings and working with director of products and product managers to define suitable product development roadmaps.
- This position understands and coordinates feature backlog for platform services and products software releases.
- This role will lead the translation of user and business to technical requirements and follow the Agile Scrum based software development. They will assist in defining software release plans and scopes with a Product Manager. This role serves as the single voice on releases into and out of Product Development.
- You will work closely with global sales and services team managers, meaning some work may be outside of traditional business hours. Strong ability to triage and prioritize requests based on level criticality will be required. Must have strong technical knowledge in the areas of software development, project management and requirements development.
- In this role you will be responsible for the product and product features from concept to EOL (End of Life). You will work closely with the Product Manager to deliver the vision established for the product(s), and you will be responsible for communicating that vision to the scrum teams - as well as driving sprint goals to deliver against agreed milestones

**Challenges/ Problem Solving**
- Developing a thorough understanding of multiple customer and user requirements and needs to allow users driven product development to take place to maximize return on product development investments
- Dealing with conflicting priorities and managing multiple sources of stakeholders
- Finding innovative solutions to maximize value delivered to customers when faced with restrictions in available resources or time
- Promote and influence the product line roadmap and vision across al the different stakeholders to get required resources, support and deliver specified outcomes that drives the success of the product line.
- Setting of priorities within overall priority listing and advise of business risk areas as identified

**This is you**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, with a technical background, masters is a plus
- Previous positions in Product Management in enterprise business is desirable
- Experience allowing a clear understanding of the customer requirements
- Self-managed, able to work in fast-paced and changing environments with a hands-on attitude
- Open personality with good communications skills in an intercultural environment
- Strong sense of urgency & responsibility
- Team player, solution oriented, dynamic, innovative and positive attitude
- Strong people management skills, including the ability to effectively report and work with remote teams
- Strong strategic thinking and marketing skills
- Experience in preparing proposals and conducting formal presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions
- Strong organizational skills, entrepreneurial drive and strong work ethics
- Customer focused and relentlessly pursues quality and speed to market in equal parts
- English is a pre-requisite; additional languages (e.g. Spanish) highly desirable
- Approximately up to 20% travelling may be required
