For our client, a renowned company in the life sciences sector, we are seeking an **Animal Operations Coordinator (m/w/d) 100%** to support their research and development activities. The company is known for its innovative approaches and commitment to excellence in scientific support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee **animal import/export processes**, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations
- Coordinate and manage **animal orders** in collaboration with researchers, Comparative Medicine, and external suppliers
- Verify that all orders meet **legal, internal, and hygiene standards**:

- Track and communicate **delivery statuses**, resolving unexpected delays or issues
- Act as the primary **point of contact** for in-vivo BR labs and animal vendors regarding order-related matters
- Manage and curate data for **visualization and reporting purposes**:

- Place **purchase orders** and manage goods receipts in eShop
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely **purchase order (PO) and goods receipt (GR) placements**:

- Handle **invoice management**, including verification and payment resolution
- Coordinate **Buffy Coat orders**, liaising with the Blood Donor Centre in Bern and managing logistics

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in **operations management** within a scientific or research environment
- Familiarity with **animal welfare regulations** and import/export processes
- Strong skills in **data management** and working with visualization tools
- Proficiency in **eShop** or similar procurement systems
- Excellent **stakeholder management** and communication abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle complex logístical tasks effectively
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
