**Your role and responsibilities**:
As a Technical Architect for the A3 Data Platform team at ABB, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing innovative data solutions that align with business needs and enterprise standards. Each day, you will be responsible for the design and build, integrity, and quality of an Information Systems (IS) solution and associated IS services delivered to business. You will also showcase your expertise by consulting, advising, and supporting on the installation of new IS solutions/services, or changing existing IS solutions/services. The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Core IS Services. You will be mainly accountable for : - Working closely with business area architects and stakeholders, leading the Architecture Review Board to evaluate and approve architectural solutions. - Creating detailed technical diagrams to effectively communicate complex system designs and guiding the strategic vision for the data platform, with a focus on scalability, security, and innovation. - Proactively proposing and defending architectural solutions, challenging existing designs, and providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement. - Developing and documenting data ingestion patterns, facilitating the integration of new data sources.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in IT services, data platforms, or a related business area. Experience within ABB is preferred (2+ years).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications include SnowPro Core Certification, SnowPro Advanced: Architect, SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Expertise in modern data platforms and technologies, particularly with Snowflake, Azure, and data integration tools. Proficiency in data mesh architectures, data governance, security, and privacy standards. Strong experience with ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to senior stakeholders, including Business IS Area Managers, Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Lead Architects, Application Managers, and Integration Owners. Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, align data strategies across diverse business units, and facilitate the Architecture Review Board discussions.
