**YOUR **responsibilities & YOUR impact**:
**Aim of this role**

Responsible for procuring supplies and services within the scope of business policies and procedures to support the business’ manufacturing operations. Support in the development of the site procurement strategy. Development and implementation of the new processes in accordance with Global guidelines.

**General Activities**

The individual is part of the Indirect Purchasing Team with the following accountabilities:

- Initiates the timely and economical purchase of goods and services with regards for quality and delivery through different sourcing channels
- Aligns sourcing decisions to strategic or preferred supplier base. Support/Lead supplier change project. Research and analyze possible sources/suppliers for requested items, provides alternatives or substitutions, when applicable and provides an overview of options to internal customers
- Ensure that sourcing decisions are aligned with Global procedures and standards
- Develop and maintains Key Performance Indicators
- Supports plant operational procurement in the escalation of supplier-related issues. Troubleshoots discrepancies pertaining to purchase orders, requisitions, supplier deliveries, prices and quality
- Ensures department compliance with SOX requirements
- Ensures compliance with Procurement Code of Conduct
- Ensures compliance with purchasing policies and procedures and promotes good purchasing behavior
- Ensures strong relationship with internal and external business customers
- Support in developing business scope of the SOURCE area, collaborate in projects as SOURCE representative
- Any other task as appointed by the manager

**Qualifications**:
**We would love to hear from YOU, if you have**:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in procurement/contracting
- Experience in the utilization of SAP or ERP software
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical environment or related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is a plus
- Good knowledge in German and English
- Ability to benchmark and improve processes
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a global, cross-functional organization
