Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) – Focus on Energy Systems (80–100%) Fixed-term Contract (6 months Try & Hire) – Location: BKW (Bern) For our client, BKW, a leading energy company, we are looking for an experienced and accomplished Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) to temporarily reinforce the team in the procurement of energy infrastructure. General Information: Start Date: December 1st, 2025 End Date: June 30th, 2025 Work Location: Bern >Employment Level: 80–100%, of which a minimum of 3 days per week on-site Remote Share: 40% Your Responsibilities Strategic procurement of complex technical components and systems for energy projects. Leading negotiations, contract drafting, and supplier management in the relevant commodity groups. Ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and deadline targets in the purchasing process. Analysis of procurement markets and development of future-oriented purchasing strategies. Your Profile – Must-Haves Minimum of 6–7 years of professional experience in the purchasing of technical equipment/systems. Specific experience (3–5 years each) in the purchasing of the following commodity groups: Switchgear Battery Systems Language Skills: German business fluent (negotiation secure); written and spoken English. Your Profile – Nice-to-Haves Experience as a Strategic Buyer of at least 5 years (ideally 6–7 years). Profound knowledge of public procurement law (BöB/VöB), acquired over >5 years. Proven, multi-year experience (>5 years) in the purchasing of technical commodity groups (ideally in those mentioned above). #J-18808-Ljbffr
