**Your responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough Firewall Rule Reviews (FRR) for specific country firewall clusters.
- Approve and manage Firewall Change Requests (FCA), ensuring compliance with strict company standards.
- Oversee the operation of our Firewall management tool, including configuration and optimization.
- Train and manage external team members to undertake FCA and FRR, maintaining high-quality service delivery within agreed SLA parameters.
- Act as a pivotal figure in projects concerning Firewall, IPS/IDS or Remote Access services, ensuring successful implementation and operation.
- Maintain expertise in network Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) technologies and IPS/IDS from leading vendors.
- Participate in network design and planning, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Document procedures and services as needed for clear communication and compliance.
- Foster outstanding collaboration with other teams, departments, and business units, ensuring strong interdepartmental relationships.
- Oversees a diverse team of internal and external engineers across varying levels of seniority.
- Delegate tasks and projects to ensure an even distribution of workload within the team.
- Stand in for the Service Owner when necessary and coordinate the full spectrum of technologies within the Network Security team's responsibility.
- Champion comprehensive knowledge sharing within the team, ensuring proficiency in a range of technologies, including WAF, Secure Web Gateway service, ZTNA operations, remote access services, ADDoS, and Cisco Stealthwatch. The Service Manager will not only be expected to have hands-on capability with these technologies but also to provide mentorship, ensuring that all team members are equipped to handle a diverse set of tasks and can provide mutual coverage to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Being an integral part of a team that at times may require leadership on key initiatives and tasks.
- Actively driving internet access-related security operations.
- Coordinating with multiple external providers and managing contractors within the context of projects or ongoing activities.
- Participating in and occasionally leading projects, with some project management skills being advantageous.
- Guaranteeing that services are delivered according to the agreed service level agreement.
- Focusing on continual improvement in NGFW technology.
- Planning and implementing automations for effective security operations.

**Your background**:

- Excellent knowledge of Networks and NGFW technologies.
- Proficiency in managing Firewall and VPN technologies.
- Proficient knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access platforms.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to manage client requests, navigate complex situations, and maintain composure during challenging client interactions.
- Networking knowledge at a CCNP level.
- Exposure to various technologies including firewall, IPS, VPN, SWG (proxy), WAF and DDoS protection.
- Experience working with global OEMs such as Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, AKAMAI, Zscaler, NetSkope, etc.
- Familiarity across IT infrastructure with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CSA, ISO, MITRE.
- Strong presentation skills.
- A customer-oriented approach coupled with robust soft skills.
- Capability to thrive in a large multinational environment and adhere to strict processes.
- A mindset open to and adaptive to change.
