Zug-based CV Labs is looking for a motivated and dedicated Event Manager to join its ecosystem team.

Tasks
CV Labs engages a wide variety of stakeholders through different events and event formats, including our flagship conference CV Summit, investor roundtables, small curated events, and visits from global university programs and government delegations. The event manager should provide expertise, planning, and logístical support, as well as identify/suggest new ways to incorporate events that align with CV Labs/CV VC's strategy.
- Brainstorming and implementing large
- and small-scale event plans/concepts tailored to specific target stakeholder groups
- Managing event requests from external clients & coordinating their realization within the various CV Labs event spaces
- Liaising and negotiating with vendors/external service providers
- Working alongside the Sales and BD team on negotiating sponsorship deals
- Handling event logistics (pre-, during, and post-event)
- Updating senior management
- Working with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and communication across all events
- Conducting research & obtaining necessary permits
- Handling post-event reports (Documenting, tracking and analyzing event activity to establish best practices)
**Requirements**:
- Degree in hospitality, public relations, or communications with 2 years of relevant experience or 3-5 years of hands-on experience in event and external relationship management
- Ability to interact and develop strong relationships with stakeholders/vendors
- Excellent written/oral communication; well-developed interpersonal skills including tact and patience
- Strong project management, budget/time management and organizational skills
- Cooperative team member who excels at interacting with other teams on complex projects
- Ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented during stressful situations
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite as well as working knowledge of event/production tools such as Eventbrite, Canva, etc.
