- Staefa, SwitzerlandProduct Owner - Senior Embedded Software Engineer
- We have an exciting new opportunity in our Firmware Infrastructure Team, where you will be responsible for coordinating the tasks of a multidisciplinary team of electrical and software engineers.- The team contributes to the design, development, and the maintenance of embedded and computer software components. The developed tools are in use worldwide to support the entire lifecycle of all Sonova hearing instruments and products.- You will be creating and maintaining the delivery (product) roadmap in accordance with the main stakeholder (customer) and manage backlog of the embedded firmware development team.**Your tasks**
- Prepare sprint planning with process leadership and lead the team though sprint planning events
- Manage the backlog of the embedded firmware development team in terms of status, priority ranking, visualization, and transparency
- Lead and coordinate team activities based on sprint plan in close collaboration with core members like e.g. architects
- Support work package owner in creating, breaking down work packages to epics, and create user stories with the team
- Support process leadership to define and setup required agile team in collaboration with line organization
- Support the hiring process for the team, the onboarding for new hires, and act as primary contact person for new hires
**Your profile**
- University degree (MSc/BSc) in electrical engineering or computer science
- 5+ years of professional working experience in embedded software development environment
- Strong working experience with agile methodologies in a mixed hardware and software environment
- Project management experience
- Good communication skills with the ability to inspire the embedded firmware development team
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
