**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a Logistics & After-Sales Procurement Category Manager, who will develop and drive the implementation of a global sourcing strategy, in order to deliver competitive advantage to the business through market synergies and category expertise.
Nestlé Nespresso is one of the most successful operation units of the Nestlé Group, the world’s leading nutrition and wellness company. It’s presence in the e-commerce channels has made a difference throughout the pandemic.
While benefiting from Nestlé expertise, Nestlé Nespresso is a strategic business unit in its own right, with its unique business model, having the end-to-end responsibility from coffee sourcing to marketing, delivery premium coffee products and services to the end-consumer through its divers sales channels (retail and e-commerce).
**A day in the life of a Procurement Category Manager**:
- Define and implement the global category strategy with regional inputs, implementation, and communication plan
- Ensure alignment with Supply chain functions at HQ and in Nespresso markets worldwide
- Identify appropriate suppliers for the spend category, lead the commercial relationship with strategic suppliers, and ensure regular strategic business reviews
- Lower the Total Cost of Ownership with the help of a dedicated procurement team, for which you will have the functional leadership
- Ensure that all the key suppliers within the spend category adhere to Nestlé standards (responsible sourcing, sustainability, corporate business principles)
- Be able to manage innovation with suppliers and integrate their innovation into Nespresso
**What will make you successful**:
- Ideally, you bring experience in the delivery services industry and understands its’ place in the e-commerce industry
- University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Economics
- Over a sustained period of 7 years, you have demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business within a global environment, through developing and implementing sourcing strategies in the logistics environment, in particular delivery services
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization
- Ability to successfully lead projects and implement change
- Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management
- Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations
- Fluency in English, another language will be an asset
