As a Sales Manager, you will drive the operative sales performance in selected global projects of induction motors in Large Motors and Generators, specifying and implementing effective sales initiatives in line with global strategy. Reporting to the Global Sales Manager, you will collaborate with the local sales organizations to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations.

Segment Sales Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Screening new global business opportunities in collaboration with Industry Segment Management
- Coordinating the information flow around sales activities (e.g. technical queries and clarifications to project specifications), and providing solutions
- Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Developing and publishing Sales Guidelines to selected key projects
- Promoting an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) Frame Agreement business model to our customers and empowering its roll out in local sales units
- Conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks
- Preparing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) quotations and following up with local sales units

**Your background**:

- 5 years of experience in industrial sales or project management, working as Sales Engineer or Technical Support Engineer with electric motors
- A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms
- Proven communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
- Taking responsibility while working systematically and independently
- A Bachelor or Master degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
