Project’s aim:
The Production Intern will contribute to the implementation of a new production line as well as the deployment of HAPS (Haleon Performance System) principles and tools, in order to support the site strategy and improve performance in Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost.

Several topics are possible (non-exhaustive):

- Tests on a pressurized hopper with a Y-shaped outlet
- Optimization of personnel and logistics flows
- Improvements in raw material storage to facilitate machinability
- Creation of an automatic reloading system to detect when a cavity is empty and refill a tube before the cartoner
- Proof of concept for predictive maintenance
- Support to line Process Engineers in problem-solving activities

Project’s course of action:
1. Establish a basic knowledge of the system & processes and understand how it all works together

2. Define the underlying problem on hand

3. Measure the impact of the problem

4. Analyze the problem’s possible solutions and limitations

5. Implement the designed solutions

6. Control the results of the implemented solutions

Required profile:

- Lean Manufacturing, 5Sskills
- Quality tools (5 Why, Ishikawa )
- Project management skills
- Python, Power BI, Solidworks, Anylogic
- Agility: Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
