**Introduction**

EPITERNA is a new discovery company located in Switzerland focused on extending the lifespan of animals including companion dogs and humans.

EPITERNA has developed a unique discovery platform capable of rapidly screening and testing interventions that can slow the process of ageing and extend lifespan in multiple animal models.

EPITERNA is hiring a Data Scientist to process, analyse and visualize data generated by the scientists; leverage publicly available data and develop machine learning models.

**Job description**

**Role**: Data Scientist

**Contract**: Full-time

**Starting date**:asap

**Activity rate**: 100%

**Schedule**: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday

**Location**: Epalinges, Switzerland - exclusively onsite

**Your responsibilities**
- Develop deep learning models for object detection
- Develop scripts to process and analyze biological data
- Develop scripts to visualize biological data
- Implement web apps for visualization of results

**Your profile**
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics
- R, Python data analysis, data visualization
- Deep learning (tensorflow, pytorch)
- Web development
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Organizational skills, rigorous and caring about details
- Ability to work independently and good team spirit
- Motivated and reliable

- Ideally you would move to Lausanne, Switzerland or at least spend some of your time here on site (it’s a beautiful place)
