**About Medical Science Liaison**

Experienced Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical Affairs team. Serves as a key resource for scientific and clinical information related to the Dexter surgical robotic platform. Acts as a liaison between the company and key opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and other healthcare professionals, providing them with the most current and accurate information about Dexter, and initiating research studies in line with Distalmotion’s scientific evidence planning.

**Tasks**
- Serve as a scientific resource for key opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and other healthcare professionals related to the Dexter system. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and other scientific experts in the field of surgical robotics.
- Identify and cultivate potential research and collaboration opportunities related to Dexter, and participate in the development of scientific and medical affairs strategies and tactics including the development and implementation of investigator-initiated studies (IIS).
- Ensure scientific coverage of key events including national or international congresses, and share acquired knowledge with Distalmotion employees.
- Liaise with KOL networks and surgical societies to collaborate on dedicated marketing and medical affairs programs around Dexter, including symposia, webinars and other podium opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of surgical robotics through literature review and attendance at scientific meetings, identify trends in current and future surgical areas covered by Distalmotion.
- Contribute to the development of medical education materials and training programs related to Dexter, and provide Medical Affairs support to the review of customer-facing material.

**Requirements**:

- Life sciences MD or PhD degree or Technical Education in Engineering, Nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in Medical Devices is strongly preferred, or in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology.
- Experience or good knowledge of laparoscopy would be a great asset.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate complex scientific information into understandable and relevant messages.
- Fluent in English and German is recommended, any other European languages would be a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
