The R&D scientist is responsible to develop and to validate analytical instruments and sensors in the field of the water quality and will be located in Geneva_._

**In this role, a typical day will look like**:

- Develop analytical instruments and sensors to measure physical chemical parameters in the field of water
- Validate new products and design changes of existing product portfolio to meet customer needs in terms of sensor measurement.
- Work including design and build of test benches for verification and validation.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Master in physical chemistry with at least 5 years’ experience with very good knowledge about physical chemical sensors.
- Experience handling with gas and ultra-pure water with previous successful experience to measure parameters as TOC, dissolved gas, Sodium, Silica,... is an asset.
- Previous successful experience in industrial or consumer product development is an asset.
- Previous successful experience in project leading is an asset.
- Team player showing autonomy, initiative, positive attitude, strong ownership and excellent communication skills
