Extra-curricular - Show Coordinator

**Main Purpose of the Role**

To deliver Department Shows and Musicals leasing with the Performing Arts teachers involved in the program. To grant logistic and communication support and enhance collaboration amongst a large team.

**Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Performing Arts Director and Extracurricular Manager to clarify the performance vision for each show.
- Possess good communication skills to enable interaction and exchanges between the various performing art groups.
- Set team planning meetings.
- Organize and coordinate rehearsals, invites and any other tasks linked to ensure optimal results.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with parents, teachers, and the office.
- Lease with the Extracurricular Manager to ensure all the means/tools are provided to facilitate the role and a smooth organisation.
- Ensure the venues are prepared and re-arranged accordingly for the start and the end of the event leasing with the teachers participating to the show.
- Ensure the logistic of children is finalized and in sinch with the department needs.
- Oversee lighting and sound operation during rehearsals and performances, completing requisite training and development.

**Skills and Competencies**
- You are an enthusiastic person with good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
- Languages required: Advanced English required, good French would be an advantage
- A Performing Art teacher or Production director qualification is required
- You have a proven experience in coordinating large productions.
