Reporting directly to the Regional Managers MENA & Indian Subcontinent, you will be responsible for supporting growth of a profitable and diversified portfolio including all underwriting-related functions associated with the administration of a diversified book of new and renewal reinsurance business written in these regions.

**Overview**:
**Your Main Tasks are**:

- Support the regional managers in the design of the overall market as well as by client/LoB strategy within the UW Planning process and its efficient execution
- Underwrite treaty P&C business in MENA and Indian Subcontinent, in accordance with UW and Pricing Guidelines
- Assist in continuing to build-up a technically sound portfolio and undertake all measures to safeguard profitability
- Assess existing portfolio and potential new opportunities while identifying deal risks and its drivers

**Qualifications required**:

- Proficient and effective knowledge of MS-Office products, especially Excel
- Language skills: very good command of English is a prerequisite. Additional language(s), especially French, Arabic or Hindi would be a distinct advantage

**Experience required**:

- Minimum three years of relevant reinsurance underwriting, preferably in the MENA or Indian Subcontinent region, or other relevant industry-related experience
- Familiarity with pricing and NatCat modeling basics is welcome
- Good negotiation and communication skills to deal with business partners and internal stakeholders
