Mina Foundation is seeking a Finance & Token Ops Manager to join our Finance and Operations team reporting to the SVP of Finance and Operations.

Mina Protocol's native cryptocurrency, MINA, is the first with a small constant-size blockchain. The Foundation supports participants, strategically allocates resources, ensures network health and security, promotes adoption, and champions MINA in the wider world. Mina solves 3 of the most difficult challenges in the blockchain space: privacy, scalability, and decentralization.

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist and build on current financial accounting and reporting processes
- Token accounting processes and reconciliations
- Manage token liquidity requirements and treasury optimization
- Assist and build on the current token distribution process and data management
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting and financial planning & analysis
- Manage and support the operational execution of our accounts payable processes
- Manage and support the execution of outsourced payroll processes
- Partner with the delegation program team
- Enhance our process and control environment and financial/operations systems
- Partner with our external accounting, audit and tax providers
- Partner closely across departments including Legal, Engineering, People Ops, General Corp and Community
**Requirements**:
Background and Skills
- Fully qualified chartered accountant or equivalent financial qualification
- experience in the gig 4 accounting firms or top corporate background is a must.
- Experience working in the web3 industry
- Experience preferably at a startup organization
- Knowledge of Swiss and international blockchain industry, laws, regulations and taxation, including Swiss Code of Obligations and Swiss GAAP preferred
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills
- Data-driven, user-focused, attention-to-detail and analytical
- Independent,self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Team player, agile, open to feedback, able to take ownership, and works in a transparent and collaborative manner
- Fluency in English. French and/or German is a plus.
- You MUST based in Switzerland. IUnless you live here or have easy access to Geneva to be office based once a week please do not apply.
