**Medical Manager / Medical Scientific Liaison Manager - Oncology (M/F/d)**
The position is to be set as 50% Medical Manager and 50% as MSL position.
Focus will be on
- Medical Strategy and field interactions_
- Responsible for the development of regional medical strategy in the respective disease areas
- Proactive and reactive provision of relevant medical, indication and product specific information to relevant stakeholders, brand team, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other relevant HCPs
- Create, communicate, and implement a strategic publication plan in coordination with the global publication strategy
- Build and maintain strong, sustainable partnerships with relevant partners (physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other HCPs) and build and maintain a thought leader network
- Engage with professional societies to implement medical scientific partnerships
- Medical and scientific representative of the company at national and international congresses, symposia, investigator meetings and similar events
- Conceptualize, budget, initiate and follow up on medical projects
- Medical Management_
- Act as an Expert in the respective disease area and propose actively medical expertise in the x-functional collaboration (local brand team)
- Advising internal stakeholders on product-specific and other medical requests
- Ensure proper documentation of relevant medical insights into designated internal documentation tools and prepare medical statements and drug information
- Close support of the specialist departments (Regulatory, Market Access, PV) and release promotional and medical information material
- Plan, design and execute medical education events for physicians, nurses, etc. (e.g., advisory boards, round table meetings, symposia)
Qualification requires
- Medical or scientific background, preferable with a MD or PhD
- Work experience in medical affairs, ideally also in a field based role
- Experience in the assigned therapeutic area Oncology or Specialty care
- Deep understanding and capability to identify and proactively gather strategically relevant insights via different channels
- Ability to engage a broad set of healthcare stakeholders in highest level of scientific exchange, tailored to individual needs/preferences
- Experienced in set up valuable engagement and communication plans reflecting the cross functional work
- Understanding and capability to communicate scientific data (clear, concise, and succinct)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a limited number of stakeholder functions
- Familiar with Swiss compliance regulations
- Good understanding of the Swiss pharmaceutical market
- Good communication skills, independent and proactive way of working
- Fluent in German and English, French is an advantage
