**Our Opening and Your Responsibilities**

For our Industrial Weighing Division (Business Unit OEM), which is a Global Business Area of METTLER TOLEDO and the world's leading manufacturer of industrial balances and components, we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Business Development Intern, 100% (all genders) for 5-6 months.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

- You will perform detailed web research and analysis of our pre-defined strategic key accounts
- You will find, consolidate and document available success stories within the global METTLER TOLEDO sales community
- You will run an analysis of relevant customer sites and verify the business coverage and the potential based on product sold, historical sales revenue and opportunities.
- You will create a relationship and communication matrix including role, position (decision maker, influencer, etc), position to METTLER TOLEDO and contact person
- You will join sales representatives in sales visits to sites of our pre-defined strategic key accounts
- You will create detailed strategic key account plans based on the researched and available information
- You will develop a channel of communication to consistently update sales organizations on ongoing activities & progress with our pre-defined strategic key accounts.
- You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing team to define activities and gaps to further improve account penetration and retention

**What You Need to Succeed**

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

- You are currently studying (at least 4th semester) or you’ve recently finished your Bachelor or Master degree in business administration with a focus on Business Development or Marketing
- You are proficient in modern communication technologies (MS365, MS Teams, MS Sharepoint, Powerpoint etc.
- You demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities
- You have a good sense for business opportunities as well as entrepreneurial attitude combined with excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German
