**Permanent position**

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering next-generation technology and business platform transformation projects for large, complex engagements, ensuring alignment with business. As part of the GGM CTO team, you will collaborate with fellow architects and solution SMEs to develop your solutions. However, as a member of the Architect team, you will be accountable for the overall strategic architecture decisions, system design, operational and software quality of the delivered solution, and governance across business, technology, and operational aspects.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Serve as a pivotal architect in a major BFS client integration program resulting from the merger of two banks in Switzerland. This integration projects required good experience and knowhow of banking domains and understanding of core banking system and data models.
- Act as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) in banking domains (Client & Front Channel, Account, Cards, Payments, CRM, Wealth Management, Sales & Advisory, Regulatory domains) and technologies (Azure Cloud, OpenShift, Microservices, Micro frontends and DevOps).
- Create cloud migration strategy and manage adoption processes
- Implement Azure platform using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like ARM templates, Terraform, and PowerShell. Provide technical guidance and support to cloud development teams.
- Adhere to Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) best practices using Azure DevOps for build and release pipelines.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure cloud infrastructure service availability and enhance service levels.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable and reliable cloud solutions
- Ensure the cloud environment meets the compliance requirements and follow best security standards.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Over 17 years of experience in IT, business, and consulting, specializing in architecting strategic solutions for organizations and clients, particularly in technology, cloud platforms and DevOps.
- Strong business domains (Client & Front Channel, Account, Cards, Payments, CRM, Wealth Management, Sales & Advisory, Regulatory domains) acumen in the banking industry, with the capability to quickly adapt to new business domains as needed.
- Good experience in Core Banking System, Domain Model and Data transformation
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure platform services, including DevOps, SRE, chaos engineering, exploratory testing solutions, and analytics-driven intelligent operations at scale.
- Proficient in ARM and Terraform. Strong understanding of subscriptions, resource groups, Azure policies, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Experience in implementing hub-spoke network topologies, virtual network (vNET) peering, network security groups (NSG), public IP addresses (PIP), site-to-site VPNs, and Azure load balancers.
- Knowledgeable in-service models for private and public cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, along with associated operating models.
- Strong DevOps mindset with experience in CI, CD, and IaC aspects of Azure. Solid foundation in microservices architecture, systems thinking, value stream mapping (VSM), complexity management, and automation.
- Extensive experience in Java-based solution design and engineering projects across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end technology stacks, with in-depth expertise in contemporary cloud-oriented platforms used in enterprise business software.
- Proven track record as a Solution Lead/Delivery Lead, managing and executing large business or IT transformation initiatives.
- Deep understanding of various software development lifecycle models, with expertise in both agile and traditional methodologies, and the ability to blend processes to suit technology and business needs.
- Willingness to lead by example with hands-on involvement in software and systems engineering.
- Ability to design and implement operational systems centered on VSM principles, pipeline design, and compliance automation.
