Your contribution to KPMG

Conduct audits of multinational companies headquartered in Basel that report financial statements in accordance with IFRS, Swiss CO and Swiss GAAP FER
Co-lead and conduct internal control testing that support our integrated audits (for PCAOB/US audits) or internal control assurance services
Audits of spin-offs, disposals, opening balance sheets and acquired businesses in connection with legal restructurings
Other transaction based and global assurance projects that require in depth (international) accounting and process expertise as well as working with technology
Coach Swiss-based and foreign audit team members on their personnel development and technical accounting, auditing and reporting matters

This is what makes you successful

Highly motivated team player, curious and interested in multinational Swiss or US listed companies, working in an international environment, proactive and with a positive attitude
CPA license (U.S., Swiss or other) or Chartered Accountant
Minimum 4 years of recent audit experience either with KPMG or another Big 4 firm and proficiency in researching accounting and auditing issues
Strong knowledge of IFRS and / or US GAAP and group audits
PCAOB/SEC reporting and other regulatory reporting skills is a strong plus
Strong project management skills
Able to deliver high quality services under tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German would be a plus
