**Main Purpose**:Global trading and risk management, covering physical risk and paper arbitrage to optimise profit around Trafigura’s system, as well as analytical reporting responsibilities.

- Strong communicator comfortable liaising in English with own team and external counterparties.
- Experience trading EMEA, US and APAC markets.
- 4+ years’ experience trading physical and paper petroleum products (ideally in a leading trading house or oil major).
- Proven analytical skills - optimising existing analytical systems as well as developing new trading strategies.
- Degree level (or equivalent) engineering, economic or business qualification.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a high pressure environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Trading bitumen product markets across multiple time zones (Singapore, Europe, US)
- Develop and maintain relationship with key bitumen suppliers / customers globally, with special focus on the UK, North West Europe and Mediterranean market
- Ensure competitive and uninterrupted supply of company’s downstream system globally
- Trading physical arbitrage to optimise and profit around existing physical system.
- Analytical reporting on market trends and associated product both to team members and senior management - requires deep understanding of the relationship between crude and various petroleum products
- Interact with third party brokers
- Coordinate activities and interact with others traders both internal and external.
