**About The Role**:
As Head Strategy & Corporate Development at Yapeal, you will be the right hand of our CEO and act as a strategic sparring partner for the entire leadership team. You will coordinate cross-functional projects, support the executive team with internal and external initiatives, and actively contribute to the corporate development of our dynamic fintech scale-up.

**Expect a Day Full of**:

- ** Strategic Planning**:Developing and leading the long-term strategic plan for the organization, aligning it with the overall vision and goals, directly with the CEO and the Leadership Team
- ** Market Analysis**:Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, and using this information to inform strategic decisions
- ** Corporate Development**:Overseeing strategic partnerships, investor relations, potential mergers & acquisitions, and joint ventures. This includes identifying potential targets and conducting due diligence, and negotiation
- ** Strategic Projects**:Based on the vision and strategy, proactively develop and implement strategic initiatives
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Collaborating with executives, board members, and other stakeholders to communicate strategy, gather input, and ensure alignment across the organization
- ** Performance Monitoring**: Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and making necessary adjustments
- ** Cross-Functional Leadership**: Working with various departments (such as marketing, controlling and finance or operations) to ensure that strategic initiatives are implemented effectively and integrated into the company's operations
- ** Risk Assessment**: Evaluating potential risks associated with strategic plans and corporate developments, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks
- ** Communication**:Articulating strategic goals and directions to the broader organization and ensuring that all employees understand the strategy and their role in achieving it
- ** Resource Allocation**:Making recommendations on the allocation of resources (financial, human, etc.) to support strategic priorities

- Several years of experience in a comparable role, in management consulting, consulting, or a scale-up environment
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and diplomatic finesse
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to act pragmatically and with execution strength
- Intellectual curiosity, willingness to take ownership and grow
- Outstanding communication skills in (Swiss-) German and English
- Passion for fin-tech, digital business models, and scaling a dynamic company
