In 2021 in 57 of our clinical development programs, had a patient engagement component to obtain the patient perspective on the design and/or conduct of clinical trial and 89 included Patient Reported Outcomes. We shared simplified summaries with more than 27 000 trial participants. In 2 international summits, we brought together 1200+ patient advocates and external attendees from 71 countries, committed to innovation with patients for patients.
We believe that incorporating the patient perspective in our decision-making helps us to develop better medicines which meet patients’ needs and allow them to live their best possible life.
In the Patient Engagement Center of Excellence, provides thought leadership in designing and implementing breakthrough Patient Engagement standards, capability programs, insights and measurement frameworks and patient experience data science.
The purpose of this role is to supports the development of methodologies to convert information received from multitudes of sources into actionable insights, implement and maintain global patient insights methodology and system and platforms. Observe external KPI measurement developments and reputation assessments, evolve NVS KPI framework and measurement of impact of PE, develop and deliver KPIs for T&R board submissions with systems to facilitate high quality measurement. Represents Novartis in externa alliances dedicated to building KPI and measurement frameworks in the area of PE
Respnsabilities:
- Design measurement framework to measure PE impact and PE progress along the implementation of the PE strategy
- Establish platforms to ensure consistent and sustainable PE measurement
- Designs internal or external analytics framework and platforms for enterprise-wide measurement
- Guides functions and units across the enterprise to establish PE unit specific measurements
- Leads enterprise-wide data collection on KPIs for annual public communication on progress with the Commitment to patient and caregivers
- Leads PE input into quarterly report to Trust and Reputation Committee of the Board of directors,
- Leads PE submissions to annual report and ESG reporting

**Minimum requirements**
- Master’s in science (Mathematics, Statistics, Epidemiology) or Data Science or portfolio management
- 6+ years of experience in senior positions in multinationals and experience in PE
- Experience in development or commercial functions,
- Experience in leading internal and external interactions with representatives of key healthcare stakeholders including and not limited to interaction with Patient Community
